International Headquarters invites you to promote and participate in Creation Sunday, the annual Christ-centred celebration of heaven and earth, held on the first Sunday of September.
As a global army of Salvation, we recognize that the world God loves and for which Jesus died, includes all that has been created and has been held together in Him.
As part of the universal Christian Church, The Salvation Army joins with other Christian traditions in promoting a feast day and joyfully enacting a celebration of the second doctrine of The Salvation Army wherein God is recognized as the creator, preserver and governor of all things.
The General encourages every congregation to accept this invitation and mark it so that it becomes a precious time of recognizing the vibrancy, provision and resilience of our beautiful God-given world.
