As part of our ongoing commitment to the Modern Slavery Act and ethical sourcing, your support is needed with two important activities this year:
Mandatory Modern Slavery Training
Last year, we introduced a modern slavery training module as part of our compliance efforts. This training is mandatory for senior leadership and employees with purchasing authority. All staff are strongly encouraged to complete it as part of our collective commitment to ethical business practices.
If you have not yet completed the training, please do so by clicking here.
Questionnaire: Purchases or Imports from Outside of Canada
If you have made any purchases or imports from outside of Canada during the past fiscal year (April 1, 2025-March 31, 2026), we kindly ask that you complete a short questionnaire.
Only one questionnaire is required per ministry unit, even if multiple individuals within the unit were involved in purchasing or import activities. Please click here to complete the questionnaire.
The information collected will support our annual compliance reporting requirements under the Modern Slavery Act.
The questionnaire deadline is Monday, April 27, 2026. Please note that only staff who made purchases or imports from outside Canada during the stated fiscal year are required to complete the questionnaire.
We appreciate your continued cooperation and support in meeting our regulatory obligations and reinforcing our shared commitment to ethical and responsible practices. If you have any questions, please contact THQ.Procurement@salvationarmy.ca
